When I attended clubfest I really didnt find alot of things that interested me. I looked into two clubs but they just werent my kinda thing. So instead I decided to do some intermural sports. I chose to do flag football, volleyball, and broomball with all of my friends from my floor. Its gonna be alot of fun
Now the sport I am gonna mainly talk about is flag football because i am a football nut. For those of you who dont know how to play flag football I will try to explain it to you. Ok you start off with two teams each team has there own set of different colored flags. Then basically after that you play a regular football game except you cant tackle anybody you have to take there flag off inorder to stop them. Also another thing is you have 2 ten minutes quarter to play and you have two chances to get a first down.
The reason I joined all of these intermural was so I could have some fun, and do what I love the most which is play sports. I also did this so I could make new friends and socialize alittle bit more. So all in all it will be a good thing for me. So I think everybody should get out there and join an intermural team it is definetly worth your time.
So in my opinion flag football is definetly one of the best intermural sports out there. The best part about it is you can just go out there and mess around and have fun. Plus I always like the adrenline rush of just running around.

Flag football would be a lot of fun. I wanted to play too, but I missed the deadline for sign up. It would have been fun though. That would be a great way to meet new people!
ReplyDeleteIntermural sports are a good way to get involved. It's nice that just because you are out of high school you don't have to stop playing the sports you love just because you're coming to college where it's so much bigger.
ReplyDeleteIt is good that somehow you are getting involved, especially with the sports. Being able to play something you love and still have fun is always a good thing to be involved in.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you are going to have a lot of fun and make a lot of friends. And I agree, football is the best!
ReplyDeleteits a bummer you didnt find a club that interested you, im glad you did find a sport though. VERY NICE!
ReplyDeleteIts cool that you can enjoy playing sports without having to be on the schools team. Everyone keeps talking about intermurals, i think i might just join one.
ReplyDeleteI wanted to do this but i didn't have time. It's definitely good exercise, but I like ultimate frisbee better anyway :)
ReplyDeleteFlag football sounds like it gives you the best of the best when it comes to getting involved with people and making new friends. This is a really positive activity for you by the sounds of it. Awesome!
ReplyDeleteIntrmurals are awesome. I am personally a fan of intrmural soccer, but flag football sounds kind of cool. And it gives you an opportunity to be physical, which can help relieve stress. Keep thinking about clubs you think sound interesting, you might find one you do like.
ReplyDeleteIntrmurals are a great thing to become involved with. I still remember my first badminton game. Asians must play alot of badminton. Remember there are also leadership oppurtunities in intrmurals like becoming a ref.
ReplyDeleteIt's good to hear you've found something to get involved in, even if ClubFest didn't work out for you. I've been hearing about some intense intermural games from the guys on my floor. It all sounds like so much fun! I wish I had gotten signed up in time!
ReplyDeleteI really wish I would of remembered the intramural sports registration deadline! Flag football is really fun and props to remembering the registration deadline! Win a T-shirt for me.
ReplyDeleteThat's cool that you got involved so fast. I was on a broomball team and now we are doing dodgeball.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad that even though you didn't find a club that worked for you, you still found something fun to get involved in. Good luck to you and your team.
